BrewGene is a brand new website and mobile app for iPhone and iPad that gives you personalized beer recommendations based on your preferences. It works by comparing your beer ratings to all of the other ratings in its database, which features more than 40,000 varieties from over 4,000 breweries and is updated daily.

Recommendations are also continuously updated and refined as you rate more beers. You can also add tasting notes, upload beer photos, and if you order a beer that somehow isn’t in the BrewGene database, you can add it to the list.

BrewGene also allows its users to have “Beer Buddies,” which allows you to see each other’s rankings, ratings and recommendations.
