Share Complex Information on a Smart Phone – While Talking – Using ChoiceView

October 25, 2011

Radish

According to Boulder, CO-based startup Radish Systems, research shows that people understand information at least 50% better when both seeing and hearing.  If you want to do a better job explaining what it is your startup does to potential investors, partners, or clients, check out their new product ChoiceView.

It is a really cool idea, which attendees at last night’s Tech Cocktail Boulder event got to see for themselves.   You can instantly share complex visual information with anyone (anyone using their free ChoiceView app, that is) while talking to them or even texting with them.

You can show off a product, photo, diagram, document, map, menu, or video snippet.  The visuals are transmitted simultaneously on the same phone line as the call and are completely secure.  Mobile callers can save the visuals and use them later.

ChoiceView was publicly launched at the Computer Electronics Show in January 2011, where it won an Enterprise Connect Award.  Since then, ChoiceView has won several recognitions and was recently awarded the BCBR’s IQ Award for Most Innovative Product.

The co-founders are a husband-and-wife team, both of whom hold PhDs: Theresa Szczurek is CEO and Richard Davis is CTO. This is their second co-founded company – their first Radish invented a land-line protocol that became the defacto standard data-voice technology integrated in over 90% of the computers shipped in the 1990s.  They successfully sold the company in 1996.  When mobile started to boom, they developed a similar but different technology housed in the Cloud for Apple and more recently for Android mobile devices.

Download the free app from the Apple Store or Android Market and give it a whirl.
