Display Photos on Any Indoor Surface Using ClingPhoto

November 10, 2011

ClingPhoto

If you take photos (and I am guessing that all of you reading this do), check out DC-based startup ClingPhoto, which allow you to easily upload images from your desktop to create custom sized, high quality printed photos that cling to any indoor surface.

That’s right – no tape, pins, or nails.  They rely on an imbedded electrostatic charge, so they don’t leave residue, and you can move them around – kind of like ColorForms.

You can order basic prints, but you can also wrap them in a custom frame or order collages.  Large format prints are coming soon.

Their only direct competitor is Walgreens, believe it or not, which offers a Photo Cling as one of their hundereds of photo products.

Way back in February 2010, we showcased ClingPhoto at a Tech Cocktail DC mixer, and they’re back again for tonight’s event.  It is a great company and concept, and we love them for their sense of humor:
