With the rise of services like Groupon and LivingSocial and other similar sites offering consumers daily deals to save money on restaurants, spas, sporting events and on other products, services and experiences, we expected to eventually see someone come along and try to help organize all the various deals into one concise offering. This is exactly what DealRadar is looking to do.
Formerly LocalOfferLounge, DealRadar looks to aggregate all those deals and send you one free daily digest that lets you stay on top of great savings opportunities and experiences available in your city. DealRadar offers deals in over 50 cities already and you can sign up for local deal updates at: dealradar.com.
The DealRadar team is made up of a bunch of seasoned digital media and advertising executives with past stints at Tribune, DoubleClick, Google and art.com. They are lead by CEO Dan Hess, CTO Gary Hart and VPs Jason Kalish and Jorge Zapata and we are excited to have them on hand as a showcased startup at our 13th Chicago TECH cocktail startup and entrepreneurial mixer event on May 13th in Chicago.
