Dedicated Small Business Social Network For Collaboration

During a business’ infancy stages, few things are as important as building a strong professional network. Unfortunately, building this network often requires a good deal of time and money, two resources many small businesses lack. Through the explosion of social networking websites, however, new opportunities exist for small businesses. VentureAlly can help your business seize this opportunity.

VentureAlly is a web-based application for small and medium sized businesses with an emphasis on collaboration and growth. In their own words:

“there are other businesses that you can learn about via cold calls, networking events, phone calls, email etc.. and for all this you would have to spend a bucket of money. Ventureally is envisioned to create a global village for small and medium businesses where companies collaborate, trade, discuss, connect and help each other grow.”

VentureAlly makes sharing industry information, collaborating, and trading easier and cheaper.

In addition to its social networking features, VentureAlly allows businesses to create an SEO optimized one-page business listing. Integrated within this page is the organization’s Facebook and Twitter feeds, reviews on Yelp, an RSS feed from the company’s blog, as well as “business presentations” (e.g. videos or power points). By combining all of this information onto a single page, a business is easily represented in both the consumer’s and the businesses’ eye.

Co-founded by Bhabani Sahu & Prachi Sahoo, VentureAlly’s mission is to eliminate the pains they had to go through when they were trying to establish their first startup. The site is in an early Alpha stage, so to learn more about their vision, stop by their demo table at Tech Cocktail Chicago following our Tech Cocktail Startup Mixology Conference.

I have had the pleasure of seeing this business grow from idea stage to alpha version. Venture Ally has a terrific idea and I am glad to see Bhabani and Prachi launch. Small businesses need all the network power they can get, and Venture Ally does the trick.
