Find a Date at Pick Mi Date, Part Game Show and Part Match Making Tool

If I were single, I would definitely check out Pick Mi Date, a new dating website that is part game show and part match-making tool.  Available only in Detroit right now, you can register to vote or date.  Eligible singles are posted online, and the public can vote on who should hook up (their next run will be coming up soon). Winning match ups are sent on an all-expense paid date to a select restaurant in the Motor City.

Pick Mi Date was created for several reasons: to make dating fun, improve the single scene in Detroit, create a “dating concierge service”, and remove some of the typical dating pressures of asking someone out, planning the date, etc.  Founders Erin Rose and Sean O’Brien also hope to highlight and introduce the community to local, Michigan-based businesses.

The Pick Mi Date team was on hand as part of out Detroit mixer event last April and we covered them previously. They also participated this week in the Funded by Night event in Detroit.
