Garrett Camp On The Serendipity Of StumbleUpon

We have talked with Garrett Camp before and marveled at the growth of his social recommendation engine, StumbleUpon. The site has been growing like a weed and sending around more social media traffic than Facebook or Twitter. Pretty impressive. We love StumbleUpon as it’s a great way to find new relevant content on the web via a browser, while StumbleUpon’s iPad and iPhone apps have made for a great way to casually explore the web while on the go.

I had an opportunity to sit down with Camp on board the Delivering Happiness bus at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Check out the video interview below as Garrett shares his perspective on StumbleUpon, it’s latest $17 million in funding, their new mobile applications, micro-finance and building a product that he loves. This video was part of the Tech Cocktail Delivering Happiness at SXSW video interview series.
