Google +1 Button Gets Better As Usage Shows Momentum

August 25, 2011

Google Plus 1 Button

We’ve covered Google+ in the past, as it’s the fastest growing social network to date. Yesterday, Google shared some numbers about the Google 1+ button that rolled out in June and just a month later hit 2 billion daily page views. Today, the +1 button appears on more than a million sites, with over 4 billion daily views, which is pretty significant momentum.

It’s important to note that yesterday Google rolled out a couple of changes to the +1 button that include:

Sharing with your circles on Google+
This means now the +1 button can share things directly to your circles.

+Snippets
