Groupon and Social Commerce Discussed at SXSW

This past week at South by Southwest Interactive, Tech Cocktail’s Frank Gruber was on a panel with Uber CEO Travis Kalanick which was moderated by Anya Kamenentz from Fast Company. The panel followed Groupon’s presentation at SXSW for a provocative discussion on the increasingly social marketplace. The session took a look at where social shopping and commerce is headed and what it means for retailers, agencies and consumers.

The session was hosted on the Pepsi Stage and the video was recorded by Fast Company. You can watch the video of the session (below). Just a warning – the audio quality on the video is a little rough at certain points. But the exchange between Kalanick and Groupon is one you won’t want to miss.
