Hackathon SD Rallies Southern California Developers

This past weekend San Diego based startup OpenCandy, focused on helping software developers make money and reach new users, rallied together developers to host the first annual Hackathon SD event in San Diego. The event was aimed at bringing together developers and hackers from across southern California for a weekend of creative development. During the event, developers broke into teams and created new software to their hearts delight. The winning team won custom engraved iPads. After 23 hours of coding they had a winner – congratulations to NEOPIXEL for their location based mobile game.
