What are we looking to do?
As a way to help the TECH cocktail community, we are offering a platform in which to share information. Community leaders can step up and help the rest of the community by sharing technology related knowledge, experience and expertise. We are looking for articles with interesting perspectives from entrepreneurs, developers, designers, social media experts, legal professionals, accountants and others to create a useful TECH cocktail resource online. We are not looking for press releases or breaking news articles but we are looking for technology comparisons, how-to’s, best practices and reviews. These could be in the form of an article, video or audio.

How to write an article for TECH cocktail?
Present a clear perspective for the TECH cocktail community which is made up of working web professionals. Articles should be written in your own voice. Please verify any outside information and cite sources when needed.
How do you submit an article for consideration?
Email us your article submission. We will try to review submissions at least once a week, but sometimes it takes longer so please be patient with us.
There are three acceptable formats for the delivery of the final draft of your article:
- XHTML
- Microsoft Word doc or RTF
- Plain text
If you use XHTML, please use simple markup. The h1 element is reserved for use as a page header, so please use h2 through h4 as needed in your article.
If you use Microsoft Word or plain text, please put link text in square brackets, with the URL in parentheses following your link text (or use Textile marks).
Why contribute to TECH cocktail?
Writing for TECH cocktail will help all of the TECH cocktail communities by sharing each other’s experiences and knowledge or unique perspective. It will give you exposure as a thought leader in the technology community and could lead to freelance and staff job opportunities, speaking and teaching engagements, and even—if you’ve got the stuff—book deals. Additionally, if you do not have time to write your own personal blog you could use TECH cocktail as your writing outlet. Thousands of people will see your work published in a respectible place.
