HubSpot Acquires oneforty

August 18, 2011

HubSpot oneforty

HubSpot acquired their neighbor in Cambridge today, the social media marketing company oneforty, which was a showcased startup at our third annual Boston summer mixer event last summer right after they came out of the first TechStars Boston class. We also covered their funding here.

The acquisition makes perfect sense: oneforty’s directory of social media apps will merge into the HubSpot App Marketplace, while features from their social media marketing tool SocialBase will be incorporated into the HubSpot product.

I am wondering what other companies HubSpot will be acquiring with the $32 million in funding they closed in March. Any guesses?
