Intelligent Job Match-Maker Startup Entreave Secures Funding

Just in time to take advantage of the recovering job market, Austin-based tech startup Entreave announced that have secured seed funding from angel investors.  Their match-making platform will do for job seekers and companies what eHarmony has done for singles: quickly and efficiently screen and match talent with companies and recruiters. Gone are broad keyword matches; in are candidate evaluations based on specific parameters.

Hiring managers and recruiters will be happy to know that job postings on Entreave are free; a fee is only incurred after a candidate is successfully hired, whether it’s for a permanent, full-time job or temporary contract position.

Entreave also offers an affiliate partner plug-in widget that has been gaining traction in the Austin area.  The widget enables online business and professional communities to provide a job portal for their members from their own website.  Their next project is a LinkedIn-type Informational Portal for professionals and businesses that is designed to both increase networking opportunities among businesses and serve as a resource for events, blogs, forums, and jobs.
