Here at Tech Cocktail, we cover startups that have a handful of founding team members. When you’re small, communicating, sharing information, and collaborating is easy. On the other end of the spectrum, you have vast corporations with tens of thousands of employees spread out around the world. In companies of this size, finding information or the right person can be like finding a needle in a haystack.
Vancouver-based startup Jostle has developed a SaaS platform to provide a simple, elegant way for employees to navigate, explore and search their organization across silos, locations and systems.
It helps people inside an organization:
- Find out who does what and where
- Discover hidden expertise and connect with people fast
- Foster cross-organization teams and collaboration
- Quickly locate key team information, no matter what location/system it resides on
So basically, Jostle tames organizational complexity and solves the problem of capturing what is really going on. By connecting employees and aligning teams, employees can work more efficiently and effectively.
Unlike their competitors, the Jostle app doesn’t create a new silo of information. Rather, it glues together the data repositories that are already being used and can be implemented in under a day without disruption.
Jostle also replaces traditional org charts and directories and captures organization and contact information in real time, including facilitating self-organized teams and clarifying cross-organization and matrix structures.
Check out this great new platform at Tech Cocktail Vancouver on Saturday, where Jostle will be one of our featured startups.
