Now, personally, I am not much of a karaoke singer; I never could get the nerve up to stand in front of a crowd and have strangers hear my horrific singing voice. However, if I could sing into my iPhone instead and have my voice laid over the song track in the privacy of my own home, that might work better for me

Khush Inc., founded by music technology enthusiasts at the Georgia Tech Music Intelligence Lab, develops music applications for mobile phones.
The company’s iPhone app, called LaDiDa, is a reverse karaoke application. When you sing into the phone, LaDiDa analyzes your voice and composes music to match. You can even submit your songs to a main library and listen to songs submitted by other users.

It looks like a pretty cool app. Hopefully, soon they will have an app for the Android as well. I would definitely play with it, and I know my kids would love it!
