Masterbranch: The Matchmaking Service for Software Developers and Employers

June 8, 2011

Masterbranch

If you’re looking for a great software developer or are a software developer looking for a great job, check out Barcelona-based startup Masterbranch, a job platform that is like Match.com, but for software development only.

Masterbranch is a great way for software developers to showcase their projects, hacks and programming skills (here’s an example) and make it easy for employers to find candidates by looking at the real, proven skills of each developer.   It’s really easy for employers to get in touch with developers: there’s a big blue “Send Email” button at the bottom and top of each profile.

Founders Ignacio Andreu, a software developer, and Juan Luis Belmonte, an engineer, put together Masterbranch to not only show off what they do, but where, as a developer, you could be offered cool jobs by cool companies.  (They’re looking to relocate to San Francisco soon.)

Check them out and let us know what you think about their site!  Leave a comment below.
