Mind Reading TV By Haier and NeuroSky

At the Internationale FunkAusstellung (IFA) conference in Berlin, Germany, Haier and NeuroSky unveiled the Haier Cloud Smart TV with the ability for users to interact with their TV using their brains. The TV is scheduled to be released in October of this year in China; the price is yet to be determined.
Rather than using a traditional remote control, Haier Smart TV you can interact via NeuroSky’s MindReader headset. NeuroSky’s brainwave technology can detect human brainwave patterns and reveal your mental state. The NeuroSky MindReader then translates the monitored brainwaves into digital signals that the television can recognize. The brain-controlled TV applications allow you to develop control over your concentration and relaxation abilities through entertainment applications. So, in essence, you will have mind control over your TV.
Based in Silicon Valley, NeuroSky offers a number of products that can be controlled with their devices, from apps to actual physical products, and now Smart TV’s. The company seems to be at the cutting edge of brain control technology – this is only the precursor of what the future might hold when it comes to brain reading technology and mind control.
