MOBILE TECH cocktail DC 1 Photos

Last Wednesday night on Cinco de Mayo we hosted our first mobile focused event with the help of our title sponsor Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 Series. We are thankful for Microsoft’s sponsorship and support of the D.C. mobile technology and entrepreneurial community and for all the mobile enthusiasts who came out. The new Windows Phone 7 Series device first previewed just a few months ago and is yet to hit the market but you can find out more about it at: windowsphone7.com. If you are developer and would like to start exploring their totally new development platform please visit MSDN’s Developer Channel for WP7.

We showcased six startups which included:

QR Arts – QR code development gone artistic
Ringio – cloud-based rich calling service
The Eats Network – multiple restaurant listing focused iPhone application
Tweetion – Twitter iPhone application
viaPlace – location based registry services
WhereMark Connect – social location-based services

Check out some of the photos from the event below by Jen Consalvo and Jeff Tong. See the full set of photos on Facebook or on Flickr.
