Be Present, With Virtual Green Screen By Nuvixa

I have spent many hours on end in corporate telesuites communicating with development teams across the world. This experience is not a bad one but the one flaw of these earlier technologies is that in order to do it you have to invest in expensive camera technology. While Skype and other video chat products do exist and offer a lower cost solution, they don’t seem to fit the bill for enterprise needs.
Nuvixa offers a new technology that was recently created on the campus of University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana that looks to improve the video conferencing experience and make it assessable to anyone who has a computer and the special Nuvixa camera. The product creates an interactive, virtual green screen between remote users, allowing them to unite (super-imposed together on the same screen) with interesting backdrops and more.
In the video below, co-founder Sanjay Patel spoke earlier this year about improving “presence” and shared some insights as to how the Nuvixa video system works.
Nuvixa will be on hand at TECH cocktail Champaign on September 7th. Click here to register to see the innovation in action!
