PAH! The Hands-Free, Voice –Controlled iOS Game

Apple’s App Store is full of fun games that all utilize the brilliant touch screen capabilities that iOS devices have. I find it very interesting and ironic that a game that is completely voice controlled is now available on the App Store. It’s called PAH! and if you’re in need of a good laugh, then this game could be just what you’ve been looking for.

PAH! is the very first fully voice controlled game to hit the App Store for iPhones and iPads. Touching the screen does absolutely nothing when in the game so you must be prepared to use your voice. Playing the game is fairly simple. You’re a spaceship and your objective is to destroy as many asteroids as you can before they destroy you. Controlling the spaceship is done by saying “AHHH” to move it up and down saying “PAH!” to shoot. It’s really a lot of fun and a great way to take a break from seriousness and release some energy. Warning: Laughing will most likely occur!

PAH! was originally developed in Flash a few years ago but finally got it ported to iOS early last month. Android and Windows Phone 7 versions are currently being constructed so keep an eye out for it if you have one of those. PAH! is 99¢ on the App Store and well worth the dollar. I guarantee you that you’ve never played a game quite like PAH!
