Powerbag Messenger Charges Your Devices On-The-Go

December 15, 2011

Powerbag Messenger

If you’re the type of person that’s always on-the-go, the new Powerbag Messenger by Ful is right up your alley. The lightweight bag allows you to charge your smartphone, iPod, tablet or any other of your mobile devices when an outlet isn’t handy.

The secret is the bag’s removable battery inside that can be charged with the (included) water-resistant AC cord. Once the pack is all juiced up, just connect your device to one of the USB ports conveniently located in the Messenger bag’s pockets (the system includes an Apple connector, micro-USB, or mini-USB).

When the battery is docked in the bag’s internal cradle, you can check how much battery power is left by simply pressing the power button. Four LED light indicators display the current battery level.

The coolest part about the device is that one Powerbag charge is enough to double the battery life of a smartphone – something that could definitely make a difference if you’re stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic or backed up on the metro during your after-work commute.

The Powerbag Messenger is available now for $139.99. The site also has other charger bag models, including a slim, airport checkpoint-friendly version and a tablet-specific bag in the same price range.  Exclusive for all Tech Cocktail readers: add coupon code PBHoliday for 15% off your purchase.

Note: the Messenger bag only supports up to a 16″ laptop, so if you sport a 17″ device, opt for the Instant Messenger model.
