Ok, it’s Friday night and you want to get carry out because your are too tired form work to cook a meal and so you wade into “that drawer.”  You all know the drawer, the one with all the menus scattered about, or even worse grab the phone book to try to decide what and where to get carry out/delivery from.  The after all of that you call, get placed on hold, and after everything you get your food and the order is wrong, bummer.  Well OrderZoom aims to take all that hassle out of the way.

OrderZoom works in areas to sign up local restaurants, who for a small monthly fee, get features like

• unlimited online ordering

It’s a win-win.  The local restaurants get listed in an easily search-able directory and the diners get an easy no fuss ordering experience. According to the folks at OrderZoom, they have some pretty cool stuff on the horizon.  There will be coupons, customer loyalty programs, and even ratings to bring a bit of social ratings into the equation.

They are currently operating listings in Albuquerque, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Tucson, and LA. So if you live in one of those areas, head over and sign up to make those order out experiences much more pleasurable.  And if you are a restaurant owner in these areas, you could do a lot worse by using OrderZoom instead of the good old phonebook. It is worth noting that Chicago-based startup GrubHub has a similar business and demoed its stuff at TECH cocktail Chicago 2 way back in October of 2006.
