River: Streamlined Business Communication Tool

River is a business communication web application to help internal employees know what is going on with projects across a company. River also helps people manage their tasks so that users will always be up-to-date with their current to-do list.
Their goal? To keep people informed about what is happening within each project and what they specifically need to do so they can focus on their jobs. River streamlines tasks so you don’t have to think about communicating and managing projects. When you log into River there is a post box so you can share what ever you need to and quickly set what project you want it to be filed under. River also makes it easy for people to structure data how they want. So the production team can set up their filters and ordering of data so that they only see the info that is important to them.
River is still behind closed doors so we haven’t reviewed their service yet, but you can see them demo as a showcased startup at TECH cocktail Chicago 13 on Thursday, May 13th, 2010 at John Barleycorn in Wrigleyville.
