Shira Lazar Shares Her Vision For Broadcast Tech Innovations

Pursuing a career as a media personality via the Web rather than taking on a job as a local news anchor, Shira Lazar has built up quite a resume and following. Shira is an EMMY nominated TV and Web Personality. She is the creator, producer and host of What’s Trending on CBSNews.com. She is also creator and host of partners project on YouTube and is a contributor on The Huffington Post.
Based in Los Angeles, we’ve been keeping our eye on Shira for awhile now so we were happy to get a chance to sync up with her at South By Southwest on board the Delivering Happiness bus. As part of our Tech Cocktail Delivering Happiness at SXSW video series I chatted with Shira about what inspires her, her favorite technology innovation and more.
