Social Media Hour: Peace & Gratitude During Thanksgiving Week

While commercial interest started tapping us on the shoulder and giving a “psssst, it’s holiday time” many weeks ago, traditionally it’s the week of Thanksgiving when folks not only start thinking about Christmas (Hanukah, Kwanzaa) but also about gratitude. Thing is, with technology and the way in which it’s been leveraged so well in the last year or so with regards to charitable giving and philanthropic organizations, it seems the holiday season is now more of a crescendo than an abrupt cymbal crash.
In this week’s episode, I was joined by Ross Holzman of Create Peace Project, an ambitious endeavor to address the growing need to strengthen human connection, cultivate self-awareness, spread hope and create peace in people’s lives – and do it through art.
On the second part of the show I was joined by the Tech Cocktail team of Frank Gruber and Jen Consalvo who also have a gratitude journaling endeavor called thankfulfor.com and got to chat about a report that they will soon be releasing.
