Startup2Startup Kicks off Geeks On a Plane in DC 9/18

We have been helping Dave McClure of the Founders Fund organize and spread the word about  an event coming up this week in Washington, D.C.

Here are the details:

September 18 (this Friday) from 1:30-4:30pm (REGISTER HERE) – The popular Silicon Valley event Startup2Startup is coming to DC’s Washington Post building as part of Geeks on a Plane before they head on a tour of Europe. Dave McClure of Founders Fund will moderate a local panel that will discuss the DC startup culture and how to thrive in this area. Mark Walsh of GeniusRocket, Matt Jacobson of LaunchBox Digital and Errol Arkilic of the National Science Foundation will sit on the panel. In addition to great local entrepreneurs, this is a rare opportunity to meet some thought leaders from the west coast and the rest of the US who are attending as part of Geeks on a Plane–this won’t be a huge event, so you’ll get time to meet good people. A chicken or vegetarian lunch will be served.

Hope to see you Friday!
