Take The Interview Streamlines the Hiring Process

They say the first impression is everything. As an employer, oftentimes you know within the first few minutes of meeting someone if that candidate isn’t quite the right fit for your organization. As a potential hire, you can spend hours sweating bullets over how to nail the perfect first impression. Enter Take The Interview (“TTI”), a new cloud-based video interviewing software platform that streamlines the hiring process for both employers and candidates.

Founded by Danielle Weinblatt and Andrew Paradise, TTI allows employers to pre-screen candidates in less than 5 minutes via video. Many interviewers waste valuable time, money and resources interviewing candidates that could be screened prior to the in-person interview. TTI’s video platform solves this problem by bringing only the best candidates to the next step of the recruitment cycle.

The platform facilitates asynchronous (not-live) interviews, so employers can review the interviews at their convenience. Hiring managers can ask two to three questions, stick a TTI “public interview” button on a job listing page, and receive video responses along with resumes. TTI allows employers to screen a lot of candidates fast, so you can efficiently decide who to interview before the interview.

TTI also offers an innovative candidate platform that allows candidates to create a video cover letter to market themselves to employers for free. Candidates can integrate their LinkedIn profile, practice taking video interviews on the site, and get feedback on their interview skills.
