Starting Next Week: Tech Cocktail Covers Asian Startups

Starting next week, my Tech Cocktail posts will have a more Eastern bent. After quitting my day job, packing my life into a backpack, and enduring nineteen hours on two planes, I just arrived in Hong Kong to begin a six-month adventure in Asia.
China is the world’s second-largest economy, and other strong Asian countries are seeing GDP growth rates at 6 percent or higher. The Asian entrepreneurs I’ve emailed or begun to follow on Twitter seem confident, connected, and inspired. I’ll be bringing you their stories over the next half year.
If you live outside Asia: What do you want to know about Asian entrepreneurship? What topics would you like to read about?
If you live in Asia: Are you working on a startup we should cover? Do you have a unique perspective on the startup scene in your country? I’m planning to visit China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Either way, feel free to contact me at kira [at] techcocktail [dot] com – and check back here for coverage of a different wave of entrepreneurship.
