We are excited to have DC metro area startup, The Social Collective, that was just introduced as the community platform at the extremely popular South By Southwest Interactive (SXSWi) Conference & will be showcasing my.SXSW.com at TECH cocktail DC 4 on February 26, 2008 in Washington, DC.
my.SXSW.com is the official social networking and scheduling tool for the 2009 conferences and festivals which take place in March in Austin, Texas. As a past SXSW attendee I would highly advise anyone thinking about heading down to SXSW to go down to the Interactive portion March 13-18th. I will speaking on a panel about “Building Entrepreneurial Communities Outside The Valley” and will be pulling from my experiences from TECH cocktail (more on that soon). Last year, SXSWi was a highlight of the year and I am sure this year will be just as good if not better. Thanks to my.SXSW, conference attendees can interact with one another, build their personalized conference schedules, join exclusive groups and relationships with other attendees. my.SXSW should help to manage the excitement and chaos that makes SXSW unique.
