The New Macbook Pro

February 24, 2011

New Macbook Pro

Today is Steve Jobs 56th birthday and with that, Apple has released a new Macbook Pro. The new Macbook Pro is faster, thinner, lighter and more robust. It’s unibody design is machined from a single piece of aluminum and it leverages a state-of-the-art Intel Core technology to make these laptops 2 to 3 times faster than previous models. The computer also now offers an integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor and for graphics-intensive applications, the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models automatically switch to new high-performance AMD Radeon graphics processors.

The new laptop is the first to offer Intel’s Thunderbolt technology which is a new port that gives you great responsiveness with high-speed data at 10 Gbps and display transfers in each direction—at the same time. This will help you move media files faster between the laptop and other devices. The new laptop also has an HD camera so that you can do Facetime on your Mac in high definition. The new Macbook Pro is supposed to have a 7 hour battery and comes in 13, 15 and 17 inch laptop models, priced from $1199 to $2499. I’d take one of each.

13 inch Macbook Pro on Amazon – $1194.00

15 inch Macbook Pro on Amazon – $1,794.00

17 inch Macbook Pro on Amazon – $2,494.00
