We were at the front of the line this past year when “The Social Network” was released. We even went to see it at midnight and then I shared my thoughts on the film in a review. So we were obviously happy to see that it took home a couple of Golden Globes last night. The film was nominated for a number of awards at this year’s Golden Globe awards and ended up taking home Best Picture (in the drama category), Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin), Score (Trent Reznor), and Director (David Fincher). Not bad for a movie based on the largest social network. I wonder if the success of the film will help create opportunities for a chance on the big screen of other products (i.e. Twitter, PayPal, etc).
Next up, we’ll have to wait and see on January 25th if The Social Network gets any Oscar nominations. In the meantime, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, don’t worry, here are some ways to watch it:
Watch “The Social Network” with Amazon Video On Demand
Download “The Social Network” movie from iTunes -
We loved the movie as we thought it really shared the entrepreneurial spirit and made us fired up to take action. We hope you like it too.
