Tumblr Still Down

Ruining Monday mornings across the world, Tumblr, the micro-blogging service, continues to be offline – 14 hours and counting. Who cares? Plenty of people. More than 5 million people log in daily for the quick, mixed media posts Tumblr affords. Twitter is filled with complaints from users and theories about the cause of the downtime. Tumblr, also taking to Twitter, posted this at 9 am Monday:
“This has been a slow and painful recovery, but we’re almost through. We’ll have more info to share as soon as we can post to our blog again.”
Oh, the irony…
