Turn Your Resume into an Infographic with Visualize.me

July 1, 2011

Visualize.me

You’ve spent a lot of time meticulously grooming your LinkedIn profile, so don’t let it be a passive representation of your qualifications. Visualize.me is a new app that pulls data from LinkedIn profiles to visualize your qualifications and connections in an engaging and creative way.

Visualize.me transforms your resume into a slick infographic so you–and potential employers–can visualize your credentials. The representation includes a graphic for education and employment, skills, and other information you may want to plug. In today’s crowded job market, this polished presentation tool could help you distinguish yourself from the legions of other applicants. Either way, seeing your professional life in colorful charts and graphs is pretty rad.

Put your LinkedIn profile to work with Visualize.me. Check out Ashton Kutcher’s creds here. How do you stack up?

Interesting idea, but no way in hell would I used this as my resume. Its very nice looking but very confusing.
Taking into consideration that when you sign up for a job hundreds of other people do, so when the employer gets your resume he looks at it for literally 5 seconds before deciding if he should put it aside for further review. If I would get this resume it would take me 10 minutes to get the basic info I needed, its really hard to go through applicants with this resume. Now consider everyone used this? It would drive me nuts! No way would I recommend anyone using this as a replacement for a resume.
