Discuss TV Shows Live – or Later – With TweePLayer

Have you ever wished you could dissect TV shows with people who are watching the same programs as you? TweePLayer is a new way to connect with fellow viewers through Twitter while watching your favorite programs.
Don’t be left out of the conversation again! TweePLayer syncs Twitter conversations with videos of your favorite TV programs, hours or even years later, so it’s like you’re chatting live. By recording the live conversations from events like TV shows, sporting events, political speeches, college seminars, conference sessions, podcasts and more, TweePLayer is able to provide you with a platform that unites online conversation with its respective video. After an event, you can play back the saved conversations while watching what you missed live, and then add your own Tweets synchronized to the moments you are watching in the show.
TweePLayer is a startup based in Natick, Massachusetts. It was inspired by a love of social media conversation and lives that were too busy to catch TV shows and events as they happened live. Launched at this year’s SXSW, it already has an archive containing over 9 million tweets from more than 5,000 conversations about TV shows and events.
TweePLayer will be showcased at our Tech Cocktail NYC event this Thursday, April 14. Join us and meet the TweePLayer team!
