Use Onavo to Save Money on Your iPhone Bill

If your iPhone bill has been a little out of control recently thanks to data usage, brand new startup Onavo has launched an app to help you bring those costs down.
Onavo’s app compresses data usage, allowing you to double or even triple the reach of your existing plan. Once the app is installed, you simply use your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad as you would normally; all the magic happens in the background. You can also see a breakdown of each app and its data usage so you’ll know which apps are costing you the most to use.
Though all the data you receive from the Internet is streamed through Onavo’s cloud-based compression service, security is taken very seriously. Only the bare minimum necessary to support the service is stored, and it is aggregated and anonymized. Only metadata is stored so you can view your data usage and savings.
